Empowering families to navigate their way through the Special Needs Labyrinth of EHCPs, transforming educational experiences
My name is Zoë, and I am a SEND parent with lived experience of navigating the Special Needs Labyrinth. I am extremely passionate about supporting other families in securing the provision their child needs, including guidance on EHCP draft checks and EHCP support.
I am a qualified secondary school teacher with several years' experience in mainstream settings, I have also completed training with SOS!SEN and IPSEA SEND Law, equipping me to be an effective SEND advisor and help families to advocate for their children.
At Special Needs Labyrinth, we have extensive experience providing EHCP Support to families, from their initial EHCP application through to reviewing the EHCP draft check and appealing the final EHCP. We have assisted families in securing the essential support they need, whether that involves dedicated 1:1 support outlined in section F, gaining a place in a special needs base unit, naming an independent setting, or obtaining an EOTAS package. Our SEND advice and SEND Document services ensure families navigate the complexities of the process with confidence.
We provide a variety of services for families, including:
- EHC needs assessment requests
- EHCP draft check service
- EHCP support through draft checking and proposing amendments
- Writing Grounds of Appeal for SEND appeals
- Working Document service for effective SEND advice
